They are those two lines on your pregnancy testing!

You’re pregnant!

Wait…but wait…now what? You may be wondering where to begin your preparations for this little life. While you are thinking about all the ways you can share the good news with the world, we will help you to prioritize the things that you want to do first.

START POPPING THE PRENATALS

If you haven’t already (yup, you can take them prior to the happy news, especially if you are thinking about having a baby), now is the time to start taking prenatal vitamins! Prenatal vitamins are important! Prenatal vitamins are important for supporting both your body and your baby’s neural development. PS…Did you know that we deliver your prenatal vitamins each month free of charge? Not kidding! Check them out here. We don’t think you are crazy. Our goal is to ensure that all mothers get the nutrition they need, regardless of their budget.

MAKE AND FIND AN APPOINTMENT WHICH A DOCTOR

It is essential that you find a healthcare provider who you are comfortable with during your pregnancy. They can help you ensure your pregnancy is on the right track, monitor any complications and, most importantly, they will watch over baby’s development and growth.

GET HEALTHY

Start adjusting your diet if you haven’t done so to ensure that it is healthy and balanced. Also, increase your water intake. Now you are growing a person! You can provide your children with the nutrients they need by adding lean protein (poultry and fish, cheese, beans, and cheese) to your diet. You can increase your water intake to 90 ounces per day. We know that sounds crazy, but it is vital (plus you will find the cleanest bathrooms).

START A PREGNANCY JOINAL

Do not forget anything! Journaling your pregnancy can make it a wonderful chapter in your life. Get out your camera and start snapping photos of your bump. You’ll love seeing it grow! Then, write your little Bitsy letters detailing all your feelings. We even have a pretty cool pregnancy journal in our shop.

USE THIS STRETCH MARK CEAM

The bump might be very small or seem absent altogether. You can keep your skin moisturized, even though it may seem small or absent altogether. Make it a daily habit to apply stretch mark cream in the morning, evening, and after every shower. Trust us and other Bump Mommas (they leave great reviews). Check out the reviews for one of our most loved stretch mark creams here.

Mama, the most important to take in the moment and enjoy it. You’re pregnant! This is one of the most important jobs that a woman can have. You are about to experience the most amazing days of your entire life.
